Here's a little song Al and I wrote last night inspired by the song "Christmas Time For The Jews" Hope you have as much fun reading it as we had writing it.
On Conference eve the gentiles gather 'round their T.V.
They stay home and party with their non-forever family
For tomorrow they know there'll be no cartoons or fix-it shows
Cause it's conference time for the Mo's
Mormons disappear two days each year
They pass the caffeine free drinks around
but it's all fine
Cause thats the time
The gentiles take over town
On Saturday no one goin' door to door
Saying you got one wife
But you need four
We'll go to the Moxie and satisfy our coffee jones
Don't have to hear no elder talking about peep stones
They're all inside
Huddled round t.v.'s warming glows
Cause it's conference time for the Mo's
We can laugh aloud at Mitt Romney
Steal that trumpet from Moroni
Go Frisbee golf with our dates
And eat dinner off those golden plates
We'll be ables to see "The Work and the Glory" without waitin' in line
If we can pull ourselves away from the fruit of the vine
We'll go to RC Willey and buy a new bed
and sleep easy tonight knowing no ones baptizing our dead
Drivin' to church in unholy undies
No big Mormon wagons on these Sundays
Take a bike ride to the lake
Not once do I hear "which stake?"
Now it's nearly 10:30, time for bed
R-rated movies dancin' in our head
Mondays comin' and that really blows
it's the end of conference time for the Mo's |
